Copenhagen

August 22nd, 2010

Denmark also called the Heartfelt Country –a fairy kingdom of impressive Prince Hamlet, humorous Carlson, dreamy Mermaid and all the names and characters well known from the childhood somehow related to Denmark. A visit to the capital of the country Copenhagen is so promising and desired. And planning an ideal vocation you should take care of a good hotel in Copenhagen. Cheap hotels in Copenhagen can give you good conditions and safeness in the room. If you need something more pretentious – you can find numerous luxury hotels in Copenhagen. Hotel Reservation Online Service (HROS) does hotel booking at no cost. Here you can find dozens of Copenhagen hotels sorted and ranged according to clients preferences. It may seem that Copenhagen is a strange city because of its obvious contrasts. Standards of living in Denmark are high but streets of its capital are not perfectly clear, as we may think. Copenhagen is overcrowded in some streets, parks or squares but next to them almost empty streets. And of course weather can change from extra gloomy to dazzling sunny in a moment. So, Copenhagen is the city where no one can be bored. If you are going to Copenhagen for the first time – take care of a good map or much better a guide, because Copenhagen is rather complicated for orientation. Freetown Christiania is interesting to visit, famous Mermaid, who by the way is very strong lady inspite of all the violence against the fine statue that sometimes happen. The monument to the literary father of Mermaid, Hans Christian Andersen, is always welcome visitors and it is very popular among tourists to take picture sitting on Andersen’s knees.

Rather interesting show is the changing of the guard near Amalienborg Palace – perfect almost theatrical performance that can hold your attention for a rather long time.

Tivoli – the park of entertainments is so much worth of visit. The Museum of Beer, of course, should be seen. Copenhagen also invites visitors to the Museum of Erotica where you can see lots of interesting, if you are interested of course.

The architecture of Copenhagen may seem alike St. Petersburg’s or remind structural design of Helsinki – but do not be mistaken. The architecture of the capital of Denmark is absolutely unique and really beautiful when you look attentively.
